Feedback system supports Íslenska (IS) but not 日本語 (JP)

The language support for the feedback system seems a bit odd to me given that it supports Íslenska (IS) but not 日本語 (JP). Is this a customizable setting? Note that this is for the application text itself

How do you type the characters "日本語" if the system does not support Japanese?

Online Japanese keyboard coupled with copy-pasting the text. I'm specifically referring to the localization settings that are in the drop-down next your user name in the upper right corner though.

I found that the site actually supports a lot languages including Japanese. I have added Japanese to the list and now you can access the Japanese version of the site.
